CMDART collaborates with the State of Massachusetts
Disaster Animal Response Team (SMART) as well as
other DARTs throughout the state and elsewhere.
Because we never know when a disaster will spread
throughout the State and we will be needed, volunteers
need to sign and return these SMART documents along
with your CMDART application to our PO Box, fax or
email address. The CMDART application has a section
(page 3) verifying that you agree to have your
information available to the State and other emergency
response groups should there ever be a need.
