Donating Emergency Animal Response Kits

Members of CMDART, Inc. present an Emergency Animal Response Kit to Emergency Mgr. Sgt. Peter Emerick and Fire Chief Peter J. Ostroskey in Uxbridge.  Left to right: Joan Monaco and Border Collie, "Dakota"of Uxbridge and JoAnn Griffin, President and Team Coordinator for CMDART with her Australian Shepherd "Raisin". The "duffle kits" will be part of rescue equipment to use until animal control or  emergency animal disaster responders were called to aid an incident.

Ms. Griffin was one of the tenants who's office burned this summer in the Bernat fire. Equipment provided in the kits was funded  by a grant from the Department of Public Health Emergency Preparedness Region 2 and by contributions from local residents. The kit includes items for small and large animal response.
