Volunteering with CMDART

CMDART requires members to be qualified and credentialed before they are allowed to participate in disaster services. These knowledgable members help reduce the chaos and confusion of a disaster by effectively performing their assigned activities and tasks they learned before the disaster strikes.

Before volunteering with us, you must complete the following:

We also recommend that you take Pet First Aid, Adult CPR and First Aid, Animal Disaster Training, and Emergency Animal Sheltering. Training dates and additional information can be found on the Humane Society of the Unites States website, and the American Red Cross of Central MA website (for Pet First Aid, Adult CPR, and First Aid).

Please return the above forms, related certificates, and any certificates from specialty classes to:

PO Box 1317, Douglas, MA 01516

You may also PDF and email volunteer forms here.
